California dreaming

My legs were killing the next day from all the walking I'd done the day before. I left the hostel at about 10am to go to LAX and get my flight up to San Francisco, it only cost me £60 and saved me sitting on a minging greyhound bus for the best part of a day. I got to the airport so early, the ride there only took around 45 minutes but took 1 hour …

Hmmm, in the last days we had a lot to do ;) We (Joel, James and I) drove the cable car (fortunately free for me ;) ) and walked all the way to ford manson. there we wanted to go to a restaurant where we thought it would be cheap ... hmmm - not a bit of it. we sat there, looking at the prices and were red ... finally we (or better I <- brave as …

A hostel with great atmosphere, super-friendly and helpuful staff, a lot of tips and advice and located in the city center on the edge of China town. The only cons are limited space with no other furniture than a bunk-bed. There are no shelfs or anything, just a big locker under the bed. The traffic also gets a bit loud in the morning and does not let you sleep very long, but that is the price for living in the city center, I guess. The dorms have no doors which limits your privacy a little, but hey, they are dorms, so I did not mind. Overall a very nice experience.
