All aboard in San Franciso!

Hi everone, I have spent the last couple of days in San Francisco. It is fun - there is lots of things to do and see here. First I explored the Hyde Street Pier in San Francisco where they have lots of historic, refurbished ships. You can go aboard three of them and so I did. Across the Date Line

I had an hour or two at the airport before boarding the flight in Taipei, and used it not for duty-free buying (because I was taking an onward flight from San Francisco) but for checking out the lounge. Friendly and well located

A hostel with great atmosphere, super-friendly and helpuful staff, a lot of tips and advice and located in the city center on the edge of China town. The only cons are limited space with no other furniture than a bunk-bed. There are no shelfs or anything, just a big locker under the bed. The traffic also gets a bit loud in the morning and does not let you sleep very long, but that is the price for living in the city center, I guess. The dorms have no doors which limits your privacy a little, but hey, they are dorms, so I did not mind. Overall a very nice experience.
