... After this ride, my muscles were done; many of us rode the van back to The Hague to explore prior to dinner. I enjoyed a drink with some lovely friends (I think Chris, Jonathan and Betty if memory serves) then we went to an Argentina restaurant for some Tapas. We are allmost ready to to go. The bags are packed and stuffed into the car.
After going through The Netherlands, we are going to drive through Germany, Austria and Slovenia before we reach Croatia.
We hope to reach Nurnberg when we stop for the night. Please let the traffic be light :-) No traffic jams...

Amsterdam to Rotterdam/cruise

Breakfasted at Starbucks which is in the hotel. A huge coffee and muffin then met John and headed to the train station next door. Bought tickets to Rotterdam on the Sprinter. Only €12 each but we should have taken the more direct train through the airport as work was being done on the line and we had to bus some of the way. Consequently a 45 minute trip took us 2 hours. Just as well we had plenty if time. Arrived finally at the cruise terminal and checked in. Lovely ...
