... Princess to Rotterdam we got the royal welcome by fire boats spraying water. Seems we are a major deal at every port. Yesterday the mayor of La Havre, France came onboard to present the captain the key to the city. Anyway, getting us tied up was a major problem, because they had never gotten a ship this size in port. It took them 30 minutes to finally get us secured to the dock. ... at 6:25am and reached Rotterdam early afternoon. I'm pretty sure I had a bit of a thing going on with the Czech girl working on the bus but as usual there wasn't a lot I could do about it. The hostel felt like somebody's house - and a nice one.
