Religion, ruins and riots make Roma
... in a suburb called trastevere. We went there hoping to get a watch for cheap and just a look around but were totally shocked at how busy it was. We turned a corner to suddenly find a horde of people milling around two paths. Once you joined a path there was no escape until you reach the end. It was so packed that it was like being moved through a mosh pit of knick knacks. Afterwards felt the need for a shower.

The Eternal City - and it's ruins
We departed Pompei with ease as the freeway starts just behind the ruins - cost us 1.60 but was very conveniant - Italy is pretty well one big toll road, the most we have spent was 100 euro in a day coming in from France, one tunnel cost us nearly $50.00 AUD - and I complain about a few dollars back home - but the dads say their taxes should pay for freeways.
