... I was very glad we had made the trip in, because it was very beautiful. My camera battery chose that moment to die, however, so I have no night-time pictures of Brasov.

As I fell into bed again that night, I realized that I had only one day left in this beautiful city. I was looking forward to seeing my friends in Budapest, but I was going to miss this magical place of castles, knights, modern, old - all somehow working in sync with each other...all connected...

Bawarski zamek Peles w Sinai z kolei przypomina ten z logo Disneya :) Jest bardzo ładny, bardzo dobrze zachowany, w środku urządzony z wielkim przepychem. Niestety drogo sobie liczą za zwiedzanie :( My kupiliśmy bilety jedynie na jedno piętro i zrezygnowaliśmy z opłaty za zdjęcia wewnątrz (ok. 40 zł! za fotografowanie)

... else. I’m pretty sure the level of talent for street musicians here is above average; these guys are fantastic, and V is telling me that the songs they are playing are typical of country parties. We get video, donate to the cause and hang out with them until we can no longer take the cold, our frozen fingers and toes telling us it’s time to head back to the car. Braşov is definitely on my list of places we must return to in the future.
