... of the trip, I decided I would not do any shopping until I got to Berlin. Kurfurstendamm Strasse is the main shopping street in West Berlin, with the Kaiser Wilhelm
Memorial Church in the middle. It’s always fun to shop in another country, especially in Europe, but it is sad to see the homogenization: so many of the stores can also be found in Chinook
Centre. But I avoided those; Peek & Cloppenburg is a nice ...

... past. However, Berlin's openly gay mayor Klaus Wowereit has capitalised on this by coining the city slogan 'Berlin - poor but sexy".

In German and in Norwegian the Ws are like English Vs. It will be funny to see what his English will sound like after we spend a couple of days in Norway.
We leave Berlin Tomorrow and go to Oslo.

It is true that Berlin has its drawbacks—including a 15% unemployment rate and an economy that takes in more money than it spits out—but it has an international charm in a German style that is simply irresistible. Aesthetically, it is also ...

... pot, and you could see people dipping their feet in fountains or just occupying every bit of shade in the parks. But I kept going, and after walking for about five hours and checking stuff like Brandenburger Gate and Alexanderplatz and the Museum Island, I went back to get my backpack and then jumped on the metro to meet Ruben.

Again I’d be staying with friends, which like I mentioned before always adds a different touch to a new place. I ended ...
