We left Hong Kong by train from Hung Hom ( that's where you need to go to get your ticket from and leave Hong Kong to go to china, you can get there by MTR) The ticket cost $190 per person and it takes about 2 hours. Guangazhou is different to Hong Kong it's a lot slower and less busy. The people are different too they speak very little english (if any) and they tend to stare more and publically hack up and spit on the floor. ( which is quite disgusting) I don't think we have seen everything ...
Guangzhou, China jamesandruthWe arrived into Guangzhou, a pretty and modern town, with all the usual Chinese sights, sounds and neon lights in the early evening. We sailed accross the river outside our hostel to Shamian Island to treat ourselves to a meal from 'Lucy's Diner.' The following day we visited the Western Han Dynasty Nanyue King Mausoleum Museum. At this stage it is safe to say I would have been very happy to never hear from the Qing, Yuan, Song or particularry the Ming dynasty ever again. I'd also lost any ap...
Guangzhou, China kimandrobi ended up staying in guangzhou for an extra day. bunch of reasons: money (nice hostel in gz was a lot cheaper than the shoebox i was gonna stay at in hk), cool people at the hostel. so why leave when i was starting to have fun and finally, i really just wanted to rest and take it slow. i know the next couple of weeks are gonna be pretty intense. might as well just relax and go with the flow. if gz is where i'm supposed to be, why fight it? and it became such a memorable day. left the charge-...
Guangzhou, China maymay1980...........not much as it turns out. If you like to party then this is the place for you. Well this hostel anyways. Its a very friendly atmosphere and a few of the people have been living here for almost a year. They have had some very funny stories about how frustrating it can be living in China. Aside from the ton of cultural differences, sounds like the language barrier is something that is always a problem. These people seemed to be able to speak very good Mandarin, but say they still hav...

... doesn't speak English nor does the lead of the sim-card mafia, but he jumps in the front seat after I negotiate 200 yuan for the ride into the city using the hotel's chinese character address. Guess he just made commission on me. 30 minutes to GZ city center
Guangzhou, Guangdong, China mauro08... nas hendikepuje. Bohuzel uz po pate hodine je tu tma, tak jsem ani nebral fotak (pouze telefon), ale snad si to v patek nebo sobotu vynahradim.
