    Brazil: We arrived at Galećo International airport at 8:06 p.m. ,February 2nd, and proceeded to take a taxi to our hotel, Rio Ortho Palace in Copacabana (Avenida Atlantica 3264, Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro 22070-000, Brazil).     Horrible flight to Brazil. Super turbulent and neither of us got much sleep. As a result, we spent most of our first day in Rio sleeping in our hotel room!     ... happy hour and everything was in full swing. Books hostel is located right in the middle of Lappa which has a street party every Friday by the Lappa arches. Lappa is close to one of the most dangerous areas in Rio. We met up with some Chilean dudes (marau and Sebastian (little brother styles)) that the others had met at Books and all headed to get amongst the festivities. It was crazy.
