Sunday was Father's Day and we felt lucky to have one of our children with us and the other two only a phone call away. After a yummy brunch we left Abell Point Marina to head back to Hamilton Island for Steph to fly back to Sydney. We took her the long 8 minute walk to the airport from the marina and sadly said farewell!

... climate. In Sydney the weather is warm, but we are now in a tropical climate with big parrots! Today we had a lazy day down at the man made lagoon in airlie beach. 1 part child urine to 2 parts water. It was pretty cold but nice laying out in the sun. Tomorrow we are up at 6 am to go on to a trip to the Great Barrier Reef! It is a long way from shore but will be amazing. It hasn't rained one day since we have been here and hopefully it won't tomorrow. ...
