... If I can find a couple of people I can travel with, that'd be even better. At least in a group, you've got a better chance of getting out of danger if you're ever faced with it. So, now, the decision I'm faced with tomorrow is do I want to go South toward Tierra del Fuego (which is at the southern most point that you can get in the world) ad everything in between, or do I go north by hitting Santiago, Chile, Lima, Peru and Quito, Ecuador. ... along as well. After a few hours of walking, I ended up back at Chris, my CS host's house, and rested for a bit waiting for him to come back from work. Then, in the evening, we went to some friends of his' house, who were very friendly, and we had some great, homemade burgers with coke and what not. Went to sleep late, but after a good day. I enjoyed my stay here. It was off season but the place was nice and tidy and the breakfast was good. They had very hot water with good pressure ...something I didn't appreciate until I experienced it! The staff was very friendly and very accomodating. The only thing I didn't care for was the thin mattresses. Though because it was off season, I had a dorm room to myself and put two matresses on top of each other. Shhhhhh. : )
