Fantastic hostel in great location! I was worried about the possibility of noise from the trains but I needn't have worried! Staff were lovely, rooms and facilities were clean and tidy. I stayed in a carriage room - fantastic as ground floor location so no hauling my luggage upstairs! Really good sized lockers for everyone and lovely comfortable beds! I would definitely stay here again!

Learning my lesson from yesterday, I cook a bowl of cheap ramen for breakfast and avoid the $2.50 muffins at the bakeries. I decide that with only seven days left in Australia, staying another night in Sydney will be a waste. We buy an overnight bus ticket for Thursday night, check our large bags at the bus station, and head to the Australian …

This morning we like to see some of Sydney famous beaches like Bronte and Bondi. We did a coastal walk from one beach to the other which is an hour walk. There are little cozy beaches in between. Bondi Beach is well known for it's good surfing climate and the long beach. It's busy even the sun doesn't shine and the water …

This morning we like to join the Free city walk of Sydney which is starting in front of the Town Hall. We have a nice guide who is getting us through bussy Sydney for 3h. She is very nice, enthusiastic and has funny humor. The tour brings us to for example to luxury shopping malls, food stalls, Hyde Park, harbour, The Rocks ( …

The hostel is very nice so we decided to stay here also the other nights. The showers are very clean and they have a lot of warm water! We only have to move to another room. We choose for a dorm as they are not fully booked and are cheaper in price. We did some administration and at 12.30h we had a lunch appointment with Dianne …
