... lunch at a local restaurant which has was quite pleasant and a chance to get out of the caravan for a while. The wind, although not as bad as expected, made it unpleasant to do any sight-seeing today, so a quiet peaceful day will not hurt us for a change. We came through the bad weather without suffering any damage, although some others in the park were not quite as fortunate. After a very emotional first half hour, we were well on our way. We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise through the fog surrounding the hills, and thankfully no rain. Our first stop was Tailem Bend where we managed to get coffee (thank god!) and some petrol before we continued on our way. Next stop was Keith where we both made quick phone calls home to assure our parents we were safe before heading across ...
