Unfortunately, we got a bit unlucky as a bus had arrived just b4 us, but even with this we only queued for about 25minutes, which from the stories we'd heard is pretty good as ppl have waited like 2hrs. So after a pretty painless border crossing we hit the Argentian Border town of La Quaica - 5,121km from Ushuaia (there is a sign and everything :)), the most southern town in the world.

Toute la petite famille Colin s'étant allée à Salta, de mon côté j'arpente le village à la recherche d'agences me permettant de faire des randos dans la Quebrada. Evidemment tout est fermé...les agences n'ouvrant qu'à partir de 17h30 ! Et oui, ici les horaires sont très spéciaux. Et la sieste peut parfois durer ...

... most of the night,and the streets were packed. I gave up watching after a couple of hours.
It also seemed that every youth pipe band in the region took part in the parade so it was very noisy too.
On Easter sunday they did the same parade again but this time with a model of the risen Jesus.
There were a couple of decent walks out of town which I did too - again more amazing scenery.

... Nick and another biker and so followed them along the winding road of the sandstone hills. This road was just magical and most bikers could take most of the curves at about 70mph but it was right under hundreds of feet of sandstone cliff and so there was rocks all over the road so it just was not worth the chance going fast.

Finally I stopped yet again and Nick continued on. I took a few more shots and gave chase only to find Nick and the other biker coming ...
