The first night we stayed at Prague Square Hostel for 300 Kuna a night each (12.00 euro). Despite one of the worst directions to get there that I have literally ever experienced in my life, the hostel was quite good. Big common area, Wi-Fi, lockers etc, and a luggage room that we used until 7pm the next evening!

Prague has been one of the places where we feel like we have come in, experienced a lot in a very short space of time and now we are quickly heading out to the next place...which is good we are getting tasters of everything and we kept our stay in Prague to 3 nights/4 days...which we do feel is enough and it is time for the next adventure. Last …

It is crazy to think that only a few days ago I was in the Czech Republic. It's even crazier to think that my sister came with me and then spent the rest of my spring break with me in London. It was so good to see her and also travel with her! Mad props to A for getting to London one night and the next morning getting on another 3 I mean 1.5 hour …

There are always those obscure things that you find on your travels and today we found one! On our way to find the world famous astronomical clock we noticed this museum sign in a side alley. It was a sign for the sex machine museum! How could we not go and check it out? So after we watched the astronomical clock and saw a few other sites we headed …

Well the trip to Prague has so far been a long one! I left home at 11am on Thursday and we will arrive at hostel at 11:00am Friday morning! The time change sets us back six hours and I stopped in Brampton to meet Michelle, so that is the reason for the long trip. As much as both Michelle and my bags seemed to be a bit heavy, all together they only …

Hearing a few days earlier that the Czech floods had begun to clear we had imagined a smooth journey to Prague, however about half way through our journey the train slowed to less than 40km ph and right next to the track were towns completely submerged under the water. Obviously neither of us had ever been this close to such large floods before and …
