... the 29th minute. All of a sudden people were running for the hills. Apparently there were some mass robbings in the crowd, fortunately the police rolled in and calmed it down very quickly. The change of mood was so dramatic though, I have never experienced mass hysteria before but fortunately we kept our cool, and more importantly, our seats. Which were off course right by the flyest women on copacabana beach. Who turned out to be 17.

Brasil can get you like that.

After a steep hike down we headed back to the fan park for the final game of the day, watching an African win in the form of *****ia, then back to the hostel for Saturday night beers. ... the 'half your age plus 7' rule... We were clearly uncomfortable and suspicious of this claim but were left thinking something along the lines of "well as long as it is legal maybe it is just a different culture, who are we to judge?" but then he confirmed the legal age was 18 and also made some creepy comments - so at this point we were all pretty outraged and Lucy and I kept clear of him for the rest of the night - poor Rob had to live with the guy for a few days... ...
