Woke up at 7:30am and headed down to the harbour to see if we could spot the dolphins fishing. Got there about 8am and waited on a bench. Saw lots of pelicans trying to balance on lamp posts. A cormorant popped up infant of us, it had managed to catch a fish, took photos of it and managed to get a sequence of it running away from a pelican that was …

Woke up at 5am, got ready and finished our packing! We checked out of the hostel about 6am and headed to the bus station, it wasn't as far as we'd thought.

Met de auto moesten we eerst onze bagage oppikken in het hotel voor we op weg konden vertrekken naar Port Macquarie. Het was wel even stressen met de auto. Het was …

      Sydney - Port Macquarie (01/10)

Today marked the beginning of the last full month of our travels! Eeeek. Where has all the time gone?!?

We were both a bit sad to be leaving Sydney. It's not often we’ve been in a place long enough to get attached to it, but you don’t have to be in Sydney long to feel attached. It is …

I arrived in Coffs Harbour late afternoon and was given a quick tour of the area by the guy who picked me up. We went up to the lookout point and I could see why I'd been told to stop here. It showed a beautiful harbour with two little islands you can walk out to and mountains in the background. I checked into the hostel and made my way to the 6 …
