Rand! How complicated can it be?!

... took another hour to get my account set-up. After that, I had to go to one teller to assign me my card and choose a PIN. I was then sent to another queue to deposit R20 to properly get my account activated. Although all the tellers were still there, they said to come back tomorrow because they needed to close. Ok.

... a suspension bridge. Although we didn't get the views, with the rain and the mist there was something quite mysterious about it.

Now in PE just chilling out before we head to Sydney; apparantely there's some rugby match on today (??!!) so we have located Barney's Tavern to watch it in.

Anyway, that's all for now.....lager drinking and rugby watching to be done!

... met de fietsers in Groningen (kijken ook nergens naar).. Ze gaan bot op de rem op de freeway omdat er mensen langs de kant staan (oorzaak nr. 1 van kopstaartbotsingen). Van handsfree bellen heeft nog nooit iemand gehoord, net als van autogordels.. Met een biertje in je hand achter het stuur? Ook geen probleem! En met 20 mensen in een laadbak over de snelweg is de normaalste zaak van de wereld. Verder moet je rechts inhalen, linksom over de rotondes en de andere ...

... the school, unfortunately, I had to have my first disciplinary meeting with the prefects. I had an unusual amount of lateness for duty occurring and prefects were blaming the head prefect for not letting them know they were on the schedule, although it is displayed in plain sight in the office. On top of that, more than half of them missed one of our mandatory meetings, so I had to address their behavior. I also felt the need to amend the conduct policy to make it more legitimate ...

... trip. Who can resist the opportunity to ride an ostrich, right? We arrive into town and find a guest house called Karoo Soul Lodge…a beautiful, homey property that we both like immediately. We settle in, make a trip into town to get some groceries for dinner, and then plan out our ostrich extravaganza tomorrow.

We wake up Saturday morning to pouring rain…hmmmmm…maybe not the best weather to hit an ostrich farm. No biggie….we’ll wait ...
