So Prague is officially my favorite city... so far at least. The architecture is beautiful and the buildings are very colorful... sorry still no pictures. We arrived in Praha on Wednesday evening, and mainly just explored the hostel and took it easy. Our hostel, Plus Prague, was huge and super nice. It has over 500 beds, a huge restaurant/bar area, free internet (cha-ching!), a swimming pool and a sauna. And it's the cheapest we've had for quite awhile. We love Prague already! oookay... so since I last wrote.. our last day in Berlin we decided to take a free tour through the same company we did in amsterdam.. A guide picked us up from our hostel at 10:15 AM and we walked to the tram, caught the tram (1.20 euros) and ended up right in front of the brandenberg gate... With all the walking and Bike tours along my swing though Western Europe, I pretty much limped into Prague a few days ago with some very sore knees. Nothing real serius as the limping and soreness would decrease as I would walk or even bike. They just seemedto bother me more when I was not on the go. A short stop before moving on to the Ukraine and then down to the Black Sea! The journey from Germany went well. Had to switch trains twice on the way. One with a four minutes to connect, and the second with 8 minutes to connect. Problem was we were eight minutes late on arrival. There is a saying in Spanish that says (roughly translated) "The world is a small handkerchief, folded in half." In other words, it's a small world after all.
