Dancing with Myself
A quick night train from Munich brought us to the Italian countryside of Florence, or Firenze as they call it here. We only had 24 hours here, so we were determined to make the most of it! We got a very early start and headed to the Galleria del Accademia. The gallery wasn't even open yet, and there was already a line of people waiting to see …
Simply beautiful to look at..
Before I go any further, Italy has already far exceeded my expectations and is up there with many others countries as one of the best! Florence was no exception to the ore if you like, and held its ground with its competition of Venice and Rome. The city is a true gem, beautiful to look at and even ore beautful to be in. From the famous sculptures …
Tour di Firenze

For having never before stayed in a Hostel, I was satisfied with my experience. While I thought it to be slightly over priced (at the end of Aug) now that I see what other Hostels actually cost in Europe, I don't regret staying here. The rooms were clean and the view was spectacular! Who could complain about being able to see the Duomo from outside their window or from the rooftop bar. It was a fabulous first experience in Florence.

We stayed at Fish Hostel which was incredible. We did pay 20.00 euro each a night which wasn't easy to swallow, especially coming towards the end of the eurotrip, but with a pool, massive bar, sauna, awesome restaurant and amazing rooms you really good go no further.

Bloody amazing. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Well put-together and well-run. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. :)
