... the artefacts and wall decorations were in such good condition. There was an interesting looking book about the tombs displayed in a glass case next to the ticket office, I asked to buy it. The ticket lady could not sell it to me as it wasn't her job and her colleague wasn't around. The dead hand to communism lingers on..... I had a similar experience in the post office.
