We are in Santiago and it is a huge city (5 million people) that spreads out as far as the eye can see however we spent our entire time here in the 'old town' and beautiful Bellavista (hippy town). We did an independent walking tour that took us 7 hours, we are both sick with colds but this did not stop us! Too much to miss... We toured the Plaza …

    Nice place for warm weather

The place is pretty great - good kitchen, nice comfy beds and warm blankets. Clean amenities and friendly staff. Two downsides; the staff doesn´t appreciate you being in the kitchen when they are in there and they don´t turn on the heat in cold weather. But the location is fantastic and the free internet and wifi is awesome.
