Tuesday 22nd. After visiting Machu Picchu we got the train back to Cusco in the evening. After the wonderful day at Machu Picchu and the great time we have had the last couple of weeks, the day has come that I have to say goodbye to my travel-buddy Alex.

Another long journey but we arrived safe and sound in Cusco on Friday. We had to change busses along the way in Puno and there was a festival going on there, so the busstation was frantic. Great beds, lockers in dorms, hot shower not that hot and not always but ok, good breakfast for the price. Good staff, great location.
