      Buenas Ondas (Good vibes!)

I really liked this hostel. one of the best I have stayed in. staff are great and helpfull. you can do a whole basket of laundry for only 35 pesos. the kitchen is large and well-equipped, and there is a grill you can use outside in the backyard to make an asado of your own. the backyard could use some attention, and a new hammock. the showers always have hot water, the beds are cleaned well, the location is great and the breakfast is decent.

We've already stayed 4 nights and have booked for another few. We've got a nice double room with ensuite which is reasonably priced. Great location for getting into town. Staff are super friendly and are really helpful.

      Bike ride around Bariloche

I had an awesome day outside of Bariloche today! I got up and head breakfast at the hostel. It wasn’t much, just bread with jam and hot chocolate, but it was better than nothing. I went to the grocery store and picked up some fruit and a sandwich for lunch, and then headed down to the bus stop. I had to have a plastic bus card, but luckily …

      LOOOOOONG day on a bus

I ended up being on the bus a lot longer than I had expected to today. The tire ended up taking over four hours to change, so instead of getting into Bariloche at 2:30pm, we got in at 6:30pm, making it a 22 hour bus ride. Not as fun as it sounds. The ride was okay. It was a pretty comfortable bus, and I had a seat without another seat next to me, …

I wrote this post while in Bariloche, but was collecting photos from various sources so it took a while to compile. Better late than never! I hope you enjoy! I have decided to continue south, despite my original plans to spend Christmas in Buenos Aires. My friend Shira recommended I not plan my travel around holidays. Especially those I do not …

And it only took 24 hrs:))

Sat and Sun were spent seeing the coastline of Mardel by bus; walking on the beach, dipping a foot in the Atlantic (and not losing it to frostbite) reading in the park, reading in our favourite cafe etc. Its hard work but someone has to do it.

I've already posted this video on FB but seeing as most of my …
