At about 2.30pm we were dropped off at our hotel. We immediately went for a swim at the Hotel Pool and it was lovely. It was a deep pool and not many guests were using it. After 45 minutes and tossing Jackie into the Pool with a towel around her, we went back to our room for a bit of relaxation and diary catch-up.

... dei Neri. We then walked towards to Piazzale Michelangelo for some sunset view of Florence. (We were trying to be romantic.) While walking towards that direction, we stopped by a grocery store and bought wine. This hill to go to the Piazzale Michelangelo is a bit steep, but very doable. When we walked up to the top, it is one of the most beautiful views of Florence.
