... Egypt it was so lovely to roam around without being hassled and we really enjoyed the friendly people and atmosphere of this pretty island. We made our way up the hill to the windmills, enjoyed a coffee and walked all through the narrow roads and lanes until we came across a Greek bakery where we stopped to enjoy "honey fritters". The stop in Mykonos was uneventful and pretty relaxing. OK meal in a local joint and the streets are famous for being a maze which has a sort of charm. We didn't have lovely weather but just a bit overcast and windy.

All in all, an OK place but we much preferred Santorini.

... height of summer this place must be chaotic. We took the bus or taxis to various beaches and settle on one which we went back to a few times. It was one of the ones on the south coast but I can’t recall the name sadly. However, I know exactly how to get to it and when I come back here on the Ryndam next year, I’ll be back for sure.
