... t see hardly where you were going. Plus very uneven ground& must have been the original underground cave. Not my cup of tea but worth it for the experience. So glad we live in Australia as these people behind the "Iron Curtain" had a hell of a time just to live until there independence in the 1990's. A very touristy place with every second shop for the " tourist" whether it be souvenirs or food. Perhaps more so here than in ...

Today we had a cruisie morning. Woke at 8:30 (needed the rest), breakfasted, watched some Greys Anatomy, checked out. Then we mozzied around the village of Cesky Krumlov. Had a delicious lunch at the hotel receptionist recommendation. Cost $15 aud each. Grilled Camembert, soup, pancake dessert. The dessert wasn't nice so we had some very very tasty crepes. Apples and cinnamon with icecream, and a white chocolate hot choccie - ...

We did not go through the two tours inside the castle - state rooms. As we walked through the grounds to the garden you got a good impression of the castle and how it changed through ...

... enjoying the amazing view of town and avoiding the hordes of Asian tour groups. (There must be a big marketing campaign going on in Asia). From there we wandered through the gardens to the summer place, small but elegant, across from the revolving theatre. The rooms and ceilings of the house were painted in lovely 18th century scenes and there was a very interesting contraption in the dining area: a oval table with a large hole in the centre. On the floor below in ...

... town, and we headed straight to one of the rafting companies offices to book in for a trip! Friday morning weather was supposed to hopefully be a bit better, so we booked in and headed into town for some sightseeing. Wandering through the medieval township and up into the castle was giving Emma flashbacks to when she visited in 2009 for a week and a half, and so after about an hour of wandering we made it to one of her old watering holes directly outside ...
