Nice people at the hostel. Good breakfast. Nice lobby and dining area. Small rooms, though fine for short trip. Very near airport and away from 'real Lima'...

I was not expecting much from this place. So my expectations were exceeded. The beds were not to bad, free towels, soap and breakfast is always a bonus. The common area was even quite decent. There is a bit of traffic noise but not enough to worry about.

Cusco (aka Cuzco) is entry point for Machu Pucchu travelers. It is a fascinating city that was the capital of the Inca Empire. Cuzco is a Unesco World Heritage Site and is one of Peru's most visited cities as it is the largest and most comfortable city from which tourists can begin visits to Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and other …

After couple of very tense and stressful days, we finally boarded our flight from Bengaluru. Tension was due to rejection of Brazil visa for the entire group and late arrival of passports. Many of us got our passports just before boarding time, at Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru airports. Few people left on 18th May and few on 19th June.

Even though my plan to stay at a hostel and use WiFi all morning until my flight fell through, I still managed to do what I needed to do. Karla had gone to work so I just used the WiFi in the room until it was time to go to the airport. She came back from work to give me a lift. Pretty great.

our plane ride went just fine and dandy. if only all our long distance trips were in such comfort and with such little hassle! i quite enjoy flying. its smooth, and you get to watch films, although the food sucks! we land in lima, and i am practically bouncing down to the bag collection area. i skip alongside our taxi man as he picks us up at the gate, and wiggle in the car as we speed downtown, my head practically out of the window like a dog! the cityscape is ...
