Our first day in Barcelona
Today we set off bright and early to catch a plane to Barcelona! The flight only took about an hour and forty minutes so it wasn't long before we were basking in sunshine (although it was still coat wearing weather).

Today we set off bright and early to catch the double decker tourist bus which does two routes around Barcelona, stopping at all of the sights. We decided to do both routes in one day without getting off the bus, and then go back to the sights that we liked the most tomorrow.

Today we went to the Barcelona Marathon Expo so that Mark could get his race pack and eat free pasta to carbo load. Lucky for me a friend could join in the pasta party for free so I also carbo loaded for my shopping marathon.

Today Mark ran the Barcelona marathon! We went to the start and the atmosphere was electric, despite it being quite a cold and rainy day.
