After about an hour of sleep, it was time to get up and head to the train station. Lizzy had never used Renfe before, so it was a bit stressful getting to the train station in less than an hour. Once we finally got there, I discovered that I had the wrong pass and that the train had reserved seats. Unfortunately this meant that Lizzy and I were not supposed to sit together and after playing musical chairs for ...
... then Gaudi`s most famous house and then the amazing Sagrada Familia.
Now we are lounging at the hotel and soon of to town for dinner and some more sites.
More to come later. :)
Just got back to the hotel from a visit to the Magical Fountain, which was great.
We then had a quick late dinner and caught the last Metro to the hotel. :)
... for the amazing Sagrada Familia. It truly is one of the most amazing, detailed buildings in Europe – stunning.
We wondered through the church and would have loved to have gone to the top, but the hangover had not disappeared and 2 hours in a queue is not my idea of fun. We decided to visit KFC instead.
