    The day definitely started with tears as Gina did her final pack and the she was away in a taxi to the Airport.....our time together has been awesome. I can recommend 100% a trip like this to mark a milestone!! We have seen the Tour de France, the Bastille Day celebrations in Paris, biked the Alpe d'Huez, swum in Monaco, been 270 km/ hr on a train, driven 4500 km and smiled and laughed a lot ...

    ... when a lot of infrastructure and improvements were made. In some areas, underground parkades were constructed and then linear parks were built over top at street level, which provides a nice feature for many neighborhoods.

    The main "hub of activity" seems to be the Plaza de Catalunya which has two large fountains in the centre and a large number of stores and restaurants around the periphery, anchored by the huge El Cortes Ingles store. From ...
