Today we visited Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary. The sanctuary works to rehabilitate orphaned orangutans. Most are orphaned when forest is destroyed for the palm oil industry. We arrived after a 6 hour bus journey in Sandakan in the far east of Malaysian Borneo and boarded another bus to Sepilok - home of the Orangutans.
