... The check-in lady didn't have us down for a reservation and I explained how I originally had 2 nights booked. First I had booked tonight through Expedia and later I booked a second night direct with the hotel for last night. It turned out that we didn't need last night's booking because we just drove down from Brenda & Robin's place so I asked if we could cancel last night's booking in August and the room's manager at the time asked me to cancel ...

September 6th -In my opinion, a travel saga should tell a story and entertain the reader. Its title should spark the imagination! What images come to your mind upon reading the words volcanic and cruise togther? Do you see a ship on the ocean with "Bardarbunga" in the background spewing out pyroclastic debris raining down on its passengers? Possibly, and maybe our ship might get close enough to actually see lava, etc. ...

... told to come back in 15 minutes, as they were busy. We walked around the airport, had some lunch (pizza and pasta - what else!?) and came back to the gate, where they said that we would need to check with the flight attendants because the plane might be full. We shopped in the Duty Free waiting to board the shuttle that would take us to the aircraft. Once we boarded the place, I sat in my window seat with two strangers while Mark asked the flight attendants if there was any way ...

... why there were very few people on the streets, with it being a buzzing hub of activity full of the suited and booted. We've never felt like such tourists!

Our final day in Toronto culminated in a trip up the CN tower, to over 1000feet and our very first (and hopefully not last!) baseball game. Despite choosing the cloudiest day the views were still amazing, with a 360 degree and a glass floor at 1122 feet. Spurred on by our support, the Toronto Blue ...
