... and becoming more hungry by the second. Eventually we made it to the hotel. The hotel staff were lovely and said that they would get us in a room as soon as possible (even though check in wasn't until 4pm). The guy in the restaurant then told us to get ourselves a breakfast, even though we hadn't checked in. I think he could tell by the way we looked we just needed food and sleep. We got in to the room about 12 and literally went straight to bed. I'm not even joking. Bags dumped ...

As we sat here laughing we were also watching this mighty city rotate below us and on several occasions I had my cameras pointing out the window.

As this mad evening went on we sat up here drinking and watched a magical sunset take place over the city. Of course with the sun as beautiful as it was everyone up here was pushing their way to this side of the tower simply to get the best shots.

... myself up against the wall and hopefully get a few hours of shut eye. Want to be ready to hit the ground running when I arrive in Heathrow tomorrow morning. Fay arrives within a half an hour of my arrival, so with tail winds and head winds, we may arrive at the same time and meet up in the Customs Hall. If not, we have a meeting spot all prearranged.
