During the flight we discussed the possibility of going down to Copacabana to join in the fun but realism took over when we weighed up the likelihood of getting a taxi back from that melee against the knowledge that we would have to be back on the road to the airport at 5:00am for our 6:40 flight. ... the cliff edge so we wandered through there. To our surprise there was a Juan Valdez Cafe, there was no way we were going to pass up on the chance of some good Colombian coffee.

We killed some more time by walking around the shops, waiting for lunch time. Tony Roma's had ocean view tables (the fog was lifting) and special lunchtime menu.
