... at all, just boats. Our snack left is not very hungry so around 8:30 we headed out to grab a drink and light snack. We walked until we were past the restaurants with guys outside trying to herd you in, into the more real-life part of Venice. We found a string of great bars and although all the tables along the canal were full there were people sitting on the ground at the edge of the canal and on the bridges with their drinks and small plates. I would put Venice in the been-there-done-that list now although I am glad we stayed a couple of nights and really got to do the walk around and get lost ...

... had gnocchi and Pizza. A disappointment, but we still had hopes for dinner! Again, plan out your day in Venice so that you can maximize your time. Meals and all! Usually your Tour manager will give you tips on where to go, but like I said this was our TMs last tour and he just wasn't really into it...so we didn't even bother asking him where to go. We followed this 1 road which was supposed to lead us to a particlar bridge to get to the Ghetto....honestly I am not sure ...
