Not bad, but came probably with unrealistic high hopes. Seems to be very popular, but didnt say anywhere else so can't compare to the competition...

Today I walked, in the heat. And bloody hell was it hot. Apparently it's ilnino at the moment and even the locals are complaining. So hot that right now that I've moved to laying on the cold tiles in the dorm. There is ac, but my body temp is still that high I'm sweating at a rest. So today, what did I see while walking? All the usual tourist stuff …

The bus journey from Kuala Lumpur took about five hours; ironically the journey was longer in …

Straight back on the travelling saddle then, we get up at 7, eat, pack, check …

After a smooth bus ride we arrive in Penang, but not at the bus station I was expecting so we take a local bus 101 to the city. Most of the budget accommodation is located on a road called Lebuh Chulia so we head there first. It's a sweaty walk as the sun is baking down on us. We pass lots of guesthouses but they look a bit **** and the road is …
