Not yet done with sun and beach, but over shitloads of retired Americans, we headed to Sayulita beach on the mainland, a place that had been recommended to us by a couple of others. A hour or so north of Puerto Vallarta (PV), we arrived to a buzzing town with lots of young (still American, in the main) people and discovered it was the weekend of …

At the same place as the mornings yoga, we went to half an hour of om chanting in the evening before going for dinner and a few drinks.

I went to yoga again the next morning. Claire wasn't well so instead of heading to the beach to try more surfing ...

... everyone. The bus was full of locals. It was awful.
Apart from that, it turned out Puerto Viatta was exactly what I needed. We went clubbing and had a wikid time listening to the same five songs which I have since found are played all over Mexico, Guatemala, and I expect the rest of Latin America. These songs include such horrors as Gas-o-li-no da da, da da, Gas-a-li-no and Heyyyy hey baby, I wanna knowowowow, if you’ll be my girl. How am I going ...
