... at Paris (Bar/Restaurant) and then walked through shops and along the bay. We caught a ferry to Governor's Island, which was beautiful with many trees, old homes and buildings and fantastic views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. A very hot day and we collapsed back to our hotel late in the afternoon.
Beginning to plan what we want to see over the coming days!

But then it was time for lunch, and across the road was a Hungarian Patisserie. It is an old-world shop, very homely and cosy, selling delicious cakes. I had a cappucino and a baklava – which I'm very partial to! John also had a coffee, as well as an Apple Strudel.
