Nomads Byron Bay

... and wanted to
sell us a full costume for $80....we managed to find a scream mask and
scythe for James and some pumpkin head boppers for me and all turned out ok
(I'll leave you to look at the photos!) we hitched back in to town with a lady
who was listening to classical music, she didn't seem phased by the
scythe!

Halloween was a fun day overall, we had the tour to
Nimbin during the day which was ...

... underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, the zoo does a huge amount of work for conservation, but there was very little information available on the animals there. The big crocs were really impressive, as they were being fed we could hear their jaws snapping shut from 20 feet away!

Driving further south, we reached Brisbane, where we bought new stuff to replace the stolen things. I got a camera which is much cheaper than the one I lost, and not as fancy ...
