... the pic before didn't capture whatever they wanted. We just sit there and laugh at how vain people who live in south america are. One photo should certainly be enough.
We watched the sunset and made our way back to the hostel for dinner. The crowds were much lower in the kitchen and we managed to cruise straight in and cook up dinner, have a few drinks on our little balcony and get ready for our last full day in South America tomorrow.

Got up around 11am had a bit of food and got a taxi up to 'Christ the Redeemer'. You have to get this tram/train up to the statue so we had to wait for 30mins until we could go up. As you walk up the steps to Christ the redeemer you start to appreciate how impressive it is. Its absolutely massive. I was also blown away by the panoramic views of Rio. You'd be hard pressed to come up with a view that rivals it. It really is incredible. From the Sugar loaf to the Copacabana and from ...

... you". Sure enough, the hotel confirmed that they had no record of any such reservation, so we opted to go with Jose. A charge of $65.00US would take us to the Orla Copacabana Hotel on Copacabana Beach.

We checked in, (tried the Vince101 at the front desk - we'll see what happens tomorrow - thanks for the lessons by the way Obi-Won) dropped our bags, and raced out for dinner, not having eaten all day really. Jose told us that ...

Las day in Rio and the sun made it's appearance ...if not a little too much! Met up with Nat and we headed to Sugar loaf where we were able to take in some incredible views of the whole of Rio as well as a good shot of the Christ Redeemer! This was followed by an afternoon of sunbathing on Ipanema beach ... The tan is building :) It was then crunch time and time to meet ...
