      The journey into town passes through the port area, a bus station, the front of the domestic airport, the centre of the city and then out onto the sea front at Copacabana - our hotel was about 400 metres along the front. The driver will stop where you want and will check your luggage against the receipts - all very safe and professional. The total journey time is about an hour and half.

      Today's adventure began in Pret A Manger at Heathrow Terminal 5 at 5 am...
