... turn and no exits for 12 miles. Finally found a truck stop, Fray asked for help, we found a shortcut but it took 1.5hrs to get home & it was completely dark & raining the whole way. Sooo stressful. Took the shine off an otherwise great day. Didn't feel like driving anymore so walked to dinner at the Italian restaurant next door again. So we did get up at 4.45am & Ducko dropped us at the train for a 6.30am departure to Montreal. We googled the Melbourne Cup & heard the terrible news about Admire Rakti. Next train left at 9.30am for Albany. Really comfortable, ************e on it, spent the day writing my previous entry. Scenery once we crossed the border was very different & just spectacular. Hello everyone! This post is long because a LOT has happened!

Ben and I had a lovely time in the Mohonk Preserve. We stayed with Uncle Dave and Aunt Suzie in Stone Ridge, NY. What a lovely couple and a beautiful home. It is always great to see these two amazing people! We also got to visit with Ben's cousin, Rachel. We also met her two sons Luke and James.
