Great hostel

Loved this hostel in Bangkok. It had big lockers to fit your whole bag in, your own personal plugs, mirror and light by your bed and good toilets/showers. The communal area was nice with computers to use for free, the breakfast was good too.

We really enjoyed the entire atmosphere, style, you name it of NapPark.. Perfect for backpackers, easy place to meet people, location is slight tucked away from the bustle of the street - but you're right in the middle of it.

Seemed very clean to us, and would highly recommend for anyone in the area to make sure to go!

So since our last post we have done quite a lot! We have finished exploring India and we are currently in Bangkok! We will begin by going back to last week in India and our few days in Agra which was probably one of our favourite days as we visited the Taj Mahal. It's hard to imagine but the Taj was even better in real life, the detail and …

28th September 2014 So after leaving England for pastures new yesterday we landed in Bangkok, Thailand after what where two relatively painless flights from Manchester to Doha, Qatar and on to Bangkok from there. Qatar Airways served us well but the five star classification the airline has didn't really seem to set it apart from others we've flown …

So Bangkok was a little overwhelming at the beginning. Massive airport, couldn't find wifi, didn't have any Baht, no one seemed to speak English and people definitely weren't as friendly as Sri Lankans!

However I made it to NapPark, which was a lovely hostel, & immediately met some cool people. Checked out the hectic Khao San Road, saw …

I certainly won't be forgetting my 2 nights in Bangkok any time soon! This place is ridiculous but in a funny way. First night on Tuesday, and I eat a fried cricket!!! I cannot believe it, for a fussy eater that is possibly my greatest achievement haha! I couldn't quite bring myself to try a fried cockroach though... It was a fun night with a few …

I made it! No trouble with the flights which was nice! Met a lovely girl from Kent on the first flight, who naturally wanted to become my travel buddy... And then sat next to two more southern girls on the second flight. Bonus is that we're all within 2 streets of each other! Travelling fwends haha! Reached the hostel at 9:30am on Tuesday 2nd, and …
