Only complaint is a strange noise we couldn't place in the bedroom, also would have been better to have breakfast on site as we had to go to the expensive cafe next door or down the road.
Other than that we had a great stay, never an issue blagging a sunlounger and although the sea was rough it was fun to get involved.
    We'd definitely recommend.
Top tip: Check out the seafood BBQ restaurant next door, we shared a bottle of rum for less than £2.00

    Nice hostel

Nice clean hostel in a central location - although don't be deceived by the map in the Lonely Planet, Mui Ne is much larger than it seems. Accommodation in Mui Ne is also extremely expensive. The room overlooked the small pool, it really is small. Nice beachfront location with a few sun loungers. We took the trip to the sand dunes, which was reasonably priced. The guy who works behind reception tends to get a bit ratty at times but if you overheard some of the things being requested, you shouldn't be surprised.

Too much rules and dirty bathrooms

We stayed at the dormrooms. It is a six person dorm, and the room is quite small and the matrasses are too old to use. The bathroom is quite dirty, with fungi on the wall.
The owners are not that friendly. When we arrived we were first told that we could not sleep in the same dorm. But we booked the two beds in one reservation. Most annoying are the signs with rules, and there are rules for everything.
The resort is next to the ocean (like every other hotel in this town), but without a beach, with chairs to use, and the price is OK.

Great place to stay, a little pricey compared to anywhere else in Nam, but reasonable for expensive Mui Ne. Owner named John (I think) is Aussie and surprisingly speaks Welsh! Very accomodating and helpful when I had a motorbike crash while staying there. Couldn't ask for better service - ardderchog!

Facilities were also excellent and clean and good basic breakfast included

The Coastal Road to Mui Ne

Waking up in a rage of excitement for the ride ahead, I ushered Liss out of bed at six-thirty. Now, this is extremely early for me, but I was so keen to get on our bikes and head along the coast. After stopping in the Ven Ven Hotel in Loc An for some breakfast, we were soon no more than 50 metres from the waves breaking into the golden sand of the …

Left Phu Quoc for Ho chi Minh on Saturday the 17th as planned. Ended up buying two motorbikes (Honda win 100cc's) from some locals that night after much haggling. Set off at noon the next day for Mui Ne I left my daypack behind (so went back to fetch it) and then my chain came off (found a local mechanic to fix it), this set us way back so we ended …

Mui Ne was our next stop which is a beautiful, resort based down on the south eastern coast of Vietnam. We showered, ate and relaxed for hours on padded lounge chairs overlooking the ocean. Life really doesn`t get much better plus we were entertained with the wind surfers attempting to glide along the water. It was hilariously funny to watch them …

After having travelled at breakneck pace through the Baltic States, Russia, Mongolia and China we were pretty shattered so Vietnam was definitely a place to slow down the travel and take our time. Whilst Quy Nhon was really good, we didn't think much of Nha Trang so we wanted a bit more beach time before heading onward to Ho Chi Minh City. Soph&# …

From Da Lat we headed southwards to the coast to a place called Mui Ne (which we still can't pronounce properly). We were staying right on the beach which was handy as in some places there are security guards to stop you accessing the beach unless you are staying on the right side of the road.

After spending a little time relaxing on the …
