Paid for a triple and a double through a travel agency and upon arrival ended up all 5 of us getting squished into one larger room. It was ok, had a/c but one person was expected to sleep on a mat on the floor which is not what we paid for. Other than that it was nice, overpriced breakfast but the owner is a hoot - loved having her around

The staff are helpful, there are bikes to rent but I found the uncleanliness disappointing. How much effort does it take to wipe down a sink? No loo roll supplied, towels are nearly seethrough.
The green tea is perfect though! I wouldn't go back, shamebecause the building itself looks lovely. Maybe we just got a bad room.

The two temples sit directly opposite eachother. Mahathat is known for its headless Buddhas, and as there were headless Buddhas all over the places we had already visited we opted to go inside Rachaburana. The main structure is under restoration, showing a striking contrast between its orginal look and what mother ...
