... We decided to also try the smoked meat that every restaurant in the area also advertised and so we split a sandwich and an order of poutine. For those that do not know what poutine is, it is french fries, cheese curds and hot brown gravy. It was delicious. We tried it before years ago at an A&W (we were sure it was one of the gourmet poutine restaurants) and weren't impressed. This was so much better. ... were in French and we learned from the tearistas there that they themselves didn't understand the translations too well as the marketing and naming of the teas is all done in the US. We had to order by smell, oh darn.

Extremely overwhelmed, extremely full and extremely satisfied, we had to bid adieu to Montreal and hoof it to Quebec. We wanted to have at least one romantic Canadian dinner (not at a diner) so Quebec was our last chance! A bientot! ...

Today is out of the cabin by 8am, so early start ,final siting on suitcases just as well Ken didn't allow me to buy those 2 jackets and dresses I wanted, so many good shops on Quebec to buy fashion we do not see at home, so I guess lotto tickets are the only option.
