I did tons of walking in Montreal, and it was almost too hot and humid at times - but that's summer out east! After five nights I was off to the train station once again for my last train journey, this one being an overnight route from Montreal to Halifax - end of the line!

... to Quebec City. We crossed the St Lawrence river on the ferry from our parking spot at Levis, rode the Funicular from Lower to Upper Quebec. Strolled the streets of Old Quebec, including the Rue-Du-Petit-Champlain (the oldest street in North America). The Chateau Frontenac stands tall on the cliffs. Halloween is happening.
