... old city, we stumbled across Chinatown, where we ate in a dumplings restaurant which was fantastic. Pan fried, they were crispy on the outside, and bursting with meat and vegetables in the middle, and was accompanied by several different sauces and powders. Definitely my kind of lunch. ... grabbed a pint of Alexander Keith's a Canadian brewed beer and met a few of Rish's buddies who turned out to be great company. ... s but still quite large – took a whopping 3+ hours to get through it and the performers etc. in the parade had energy right to the last – they never wavered or seemed tired or shown any uneasiness as the parade just crawled along. KUDOS to them – they were awesome. :)

I know when someone is not from Montreal or has not been living her a long time when I see them wearing expensive leather boots in winter, or even worst stiletto heels in a snow storm.
