... me until Fred came out of surgery. We sat in the hospital's cafeteria just down the hall, which is pretty cute but small with only six tables. The hot food was typical Ecuadorian -- empanadas, chumalles (not sure of spelling), tamales, etc., plus homemade pizza -- the little bit of food I bought there was good.
