This place is handy to Southern Cross station. If you're too lazy to walk then just take the 75 tram from out the front of the hostel. It will drop you off near the supermarket Coles as well which is handy. Hostel is close to river and everything so no need to extensively walk too far. If you don't like walking, then trams at your doorstep.

Nice and clean. Stayed in a four bed dorm which was fine and people friendly. Just stayed for one night but wished it had been longer1

Melbourne is my favourite city in Australia. All the sights were close together, the people were friendly and it was such a liveable city that we all quickly fell in love. And so much was free (those who know me know that I love saving!) Day one involved arriving and settling in, followed by our own self guided tour of the city. We ended our tour …

    ....SPACED...OUT....DRONGO...!

I arrived in the city of 'four seasons in one day' (in the only country on earth that eats its own national emblem) at 12:10p.m...very spaced out.

I walked through duty free and thought about buying some booze. A nice Aussie lady convinced me. "They'll love it", she said. Ok then, so to get into the spirit(s) of Australia I bought a li...
