I’m off to Alice Springs tomorrow – a slight change to my original plan so that I can see the red centre and specifically Uluru (the rock formally known as Ayers), which is a full day trip from Alice Springs. This is one huge country.

... the dust. Everything is enveiled in a soft orange glow. Every ten meters stands someone taking pictures of the spectacle, making it hard to get any good shots without photographers in it. Many people wear breathing masks. The dust gets everywhere, into my eyes, mouth, nose, sticks to my hair.

... ate some sushi, went to a museum, wangled some ludicrously cheap Opera tickets, went to dinner and then the highlight of Sydney - went to the Opera at the Sydney Opera house!
Of course that’s a highly condensed version of my 2 and a half days in Sydney! We also got lost a few times wandering the streets and not wanting to look like tourists and so refusing to get a map out, I somehow managed to run out of camera battery on arrival at the Harbour bridge which resulted ...

Alright, so i figured i'd give you guys and update on how classes are here, at least for me and how things seem to be working out for me. Well first off, i have no class on friday, which is a great first time considering i'm going to be in Sydney! ... wie es ausserhalb von Sydney so aussieht.. J Und zum schluss.. Es gibt noch so viel mehr zu berichten, aber ich muss jetzt gleich los.
