    ... of the island. We were both feeling a bit apprehensive about diving again after having 4 months break. I was especially nervous as it would be my first time diving in the ocean. All kitted up we were ready to go, all the nerves went as soon as we were underwater.     ... a bus to São Paulo. Sam and I weren't sitting together but I was again reminded of how beautiful brazilian people are, when the man next next to sam offered to swap seats with me. It was a ridiculously tedious journey. It seemed like the bus stopped every hour. I slept most of the way but we did pass through some nice mountainous areas where we were driving through the clouds.

    ... but I turned up reday to go and they said it was too windy (it was quite windy) to do the trip so it was cancelled.
    I went back to the hostel because the people I'd met the night before were planning to do a hike and several of us set out for Lopes Mendes beach.
