Good location just in front of the Bus station, nice common area with garden, swimmingpool, outside kitchen, wifi on common areas, breakfast not specially good, but ok. Aircon in some rooms, not all. Ask yours with aircon! Good info about the visit to the falls

Clean and tidy was well looked after. Ideal from the perspective of it being across the road from the bus station.

Had some shorts stolen which we're drying outside the dorm, when we told the reception staff they weren't the slightest bit interested. Not much they could do about it I know but some interest would have been appreciated.

Fantastic hostel right across the road from the bus station in Iguazu.
Very friendly staff, very clean, good breakfast eveery morning, and right in the centre of town for restaurants and shops.
Lovely swimming pool too, with outdoor barbecue/braai area with kitchenette overlooking the pool.
Fussball table, and table tennis table included free of charge too in the courtyard area.
Dorms were thoroughly cleaned every morning, and new sheets fitted.
Lock up storage in all the dorms for all occupants, and a big luggage store aswell if needed.
Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Iguazu Falls Argentina side!

Day 10 - Iguazu Falls (Brazilian side)

After another freezing cold night, I'm ready to take the bus to see the Brazilian side of the falls.

Unfortunately weather is bad, very foggy and even on the street I could barely see the car in front of us. Anyway, "it is what it is", let’s experience the falls with the fog.

Maybe due to the weather condition, maybe …

I met Courtney from Canada in Puerto Iguazu, the small town on the Argentinian side of the falls region. Courtney I had met about 10 years ago in Australia, and then a few times in Canada, but I had not seen her for a very long time. It was great to see her again after so long and we got on well again instantly!

I left Buenos Aires on Saturday to make my way to Iguacu. It was maybe crazy to go all the way up to Iguacu, with the intention of then going back down to Uruguay seeing as Uruguay is parallel to BA (and only a short boat ride away), but I was determined to see the falls before I leave Argentina just in case I don't leave enough time at the end of …

An early awakening, my Estonian friend is leaving for Iguazu and Brazil and needs to be away.
I eventually get up to see him off and lock the workshop which we have had to to ourselves.
Then down the road to the cafe for breakfast and the frightening thing, they bring it to me without my asking!

      Immense waterfall

      Hi everyone

We have just left Puerto Iguazu - our base whilst we visited the Falls. It was undoubtedly the most amazing place that I've been to. I know that the word immense sounds ridiculous but it really is! There are a succession of huge waterfalls culminating in the Garanta del Diablo which is where the majority of the river piles ove...

So the day has finally arrived for us to head out to the falls and its raining OF COURSE! grr but it's not like we weren't going to go. We sucked it up a few people bought some ponchos a few already had them and we jumped on yet another minibus and headed off to what we hoped would be one of the most amazing things we'd ever see.
