Great location directly opposite the bus station, free wifi and free PC' to use in reception. Basic breakfast of bread, jam and apples tea and coffee. Kitchen available to use but not very well stocked in terms of utensils - pans without handles etc. Cheap backpacker accommodation.

Conveniently located just across the street from the central bus station Macropolo Inn will definitely meet the basic needs of most budget minded travelers.

My stay here for about US$30 for a private room with two truly "single" beds was an enjoyable one. I found the staff to be very helpful and the property was very quiet during my visit. With free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, a happy hour and a hot shower, Macropolo Inn made my time in Puerto Iguazu comfortable and affordable.

Good location just in front of the Bus station, nice common area with garden, swimmingpool, outside kitchen, wifi on common areas, breakfast not specially good, but ok. Aircon in some rooms, not all. Ask yours with aircon! Good info about the visit to the falls

Clean and tidy was well looked after. Ideal from the perspective of it being across the road from the bus station.

Had some shorts stolen which we're drying outside the dorm, when we told the reception staff they weren't the slightest bit interested. Not much they could do about it I know but some interest would have been appreciated.

Fantastic hostel right across the road from the bus station in Iguazu.
Very friendly staff, very clean, good breakfast eveery morning, and right in the centre of town for restaurants and shops.
Lovely swimming pool too, with outdoor barbecue/braai area with kitchenette overlooking the pool.
Fussball table, and table tennis table included free of charge too in the courtyard area.
Dorms were thoroughly cleaned every morning, and new sheets fitted.
Lock up storage in all the dorms for all occupants, and a big luggage store aswell if needed.
Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Iguazu Falls Argentina side!

The waterfalls were absolutely incredible, its hard to imagine a more wonderful natural site. They are truly awe inspiring! I recommend seeing them from both the Argentinean and Brazilian sides which is very easy to arrange in Puerto Iguazu. There are local busses or tourist busses that will take you direct to the falls from the bus station – …

Yana and I fell in love with Ilha Grande, but as all good things come to an end, we had to leave on Sunday. We stayed at the beach in Abrao until noon, and then took the boat back to Angra. Most stores were closed and there wasn't much to do but to finally  try the traditional brazilian Acai desert with bananas and granola. Yana took the bus back …

After another freezing cold night, I'm ready to take the bus to see the Brazilian side of the falls.

Unfortunately weather is bad, very foggy and even on the street I could barely see the car in front of us. Anyway, "it is what it is", let’s experience the falls with the fog.

      Immense waterfall

      Hi everyone

We have just left Puerto Iguazu - our base whilst we visited the Falls. It was undoubtedly the most amazing place that I've been to.
