... some unusual finials and wall mounted fancy brackets, then left to head back to the plastic factory as they were remodifying one of the dies. By this time it was 9.15pm as we stopped to get something to eat along the way. We stayed until about 11pm as there was still problems with the die,and everyone was frustrated as to why the part isn't right. We still had 80kms until we got back to hotel so it was a very late night ...

I left school at noon Thursday, late March. Took a taxi to the HongQaio train station--sat on a bench for two hours--jumped on a train--arrived in Hangzhoudong (dong means East) train station an hour later. I jumped on the subway and was in Xiasha within 4 hours of the beginning of my journey. Lots of walking and standing in line mainly but the trip was so far quite interesting on too many levels to effectively describe.

On St Patrick's Day we went just down the road to The Vineyard (recommended by John Larner whom we met by coincidence in the streetand had a cheese burger and a pint of cocktail!

... its good quality, Longjing Tea also enjoys a famous long history. We bought some, to try at home... The last day and we wet into the city once more, had great food with freshly made noodles in a soup bowl and were invited to a Puh Err tea ceremony. As we are interested in tea culture and history, we decided to get some small pieces for home! Times flies and when we were about to leave this beautiful city it started snowing!
