Meteo: sole!
... had calmed down considerably and since we knew about the open bow area we spent the entire trip standing there enjoying the sights. There weren't many passengers on this leg of the trip so the bow was empty most of the time.
Inishmor is a fabulous place to visit. It is about 8 miles long and only a couple miles wide. It's population is a bit over 1000. The village near the harbor is a nice size with restaurants, pubs, supermarket, fast food ...

... the base and they each weigh between 1 and 10 tonnes. These all would have been brought in down the nearby river from a coastal site many miles away.
They are still not 100% sure what the structure was used for. Their best guess is that is was some sort of temple to their sun god as there is s light box that the sun only shines through on the 5 days around the winter equinox. And there did not find any signs that anyone ever lived in the structure, as there ...
... The guy that was helping me told me that he is trying to switch our seats for tomorrow but no guarantees. Better than nothing! I filled in one more postcard, which I'm sure will arrive after I will, but that's ok, its fun to get "real" mail! I'm going to relax the rest of the day, watching tv, reading my book, and getting ready for tomorrow.
... later in the morning. The girls and I had planned to go to Newgrange and Knowthe today. I figured I would just stay home and take it easy. But Balmeo was having none of that! The only hospitals I had been able to find where vets! But she found a nearby clinic and made me an appointment. Not only that, but she convinced them to loan us their one pair of crutches for the day. Don't mess with Big B! So I hobbled around the sites today and the ...

Over the last month a lovely man named Michael Joyce built one of these walls in front of the house I live in almost entirely with his bare hands. I would look out the window and see him tugging at rocks that I would think no one could possibly lift then at next glance the rock would be moved...irish leprechaunish type magic maybe? Or maybe its just that he's a very strong fisherman type man. Interestingly enough, Michael Joyce is married to Maggie ...
Inishmore, Western Ireland, Ireland amylizf... the castle we were looking for, which name slips me at the moment, but it was just a lot smaller than expected. We spent so much time climbing and riding and acting like children that we never made it to Inishmore's famous cliffs. The cliffs on one of the islands, I'm not positive if it's Inishmore, but you have to actually lie on your belly and go over to the edge, because the wind can become so strong that ... well, goodbye to you. Isn't ...
Inishmore, Western Ireland, Ireland mmgill... stands since the days King James fought battles there. The sun shone that day and they all said "the American" must have brought the sunshine! Once again Jim saw God at work as he was able to meet Enri Nase, Albanian Regional Director who has been on an extended furlough to Ireland with his Irish wife. They will be going back in October, Lord willing. The work is very young there, but Enri has a lot of vision and organization to get a literature ministry going including the Emmaus courses.
