Our Delta flight from Phoenix to LA was fine. However once we arrived in Los Angeles, it wasnit the walk from Terminal 5 to the Brady International Terminal, that did us in (although that was quite a hike). ... We then drove to Manhattan Beach where we were told there was a fireworks display for NY, so we found a lovely Italian restuarant that was magnificent! By night the place was very picturesque and the beach was massive, but I am sure the view during the day would be just as great!

... something much, much smaller! We speak to the staff again and they point us in the direction of the full size cars instead. We pick a Chevy Impala, which is a similar size to Pete's old car so Jayne is happier with that. We have to ask the staff how to open the boot and they look at us rather strangely, we quickly correct ourselves - its the 'trunk' out here - and they show us.
