... while waiting for the flight to board, which happened 15 minutes ahead of schedule. The plane was full, no doubt due to the cancellations at Caticlan, so I guess I'm lucky to be getting to Manila at all, albeit five hours late. The captain just announced that it's 36 degrees in the capital and raining - sounds like a few relaxed drinks at Miggy's instead of catching the earlier flight was the right call. Just hope the roads are open and I can get to Intramuros.

6am in the morning, traditionally a pig was killed for the party before the wedding. However, I was not man enough to do the killing with the knife myself, thanks for your help guys!

... their fish. People obviously lived off the sea in this area, and there were a number of small two man fishing boats up on the shore. The waves were quite high; I could not imagine taking one of these small boats out without capsizing, but it happens all the time.

... for Linda, off we went to get our bus. 2 haircuts , manicure , pedicure = 250 pesos. (5 euro), bargain!

Sooooo, next stop Roxas, not so many people to begin with, so we spread out , but as the journey continued it got packed out, so for about an hour it was me, Linda, a woman and her kid, and all our bags, squashed in 3 seats! Not the best time to ****!! It wasn't me!!! Honest!

... were all from a local college a couple of floors above the Jollibee. They were all responsible for selling drinks and snacks outside, to try and make some money for their college funds. Almost all the girls must have been 17-18 and were very shy, but the gay boy friends were much more confident and great fun. One was dressed as a demure lady boy – a title that raises more dichotomies than it solves!
